We had an exceptional stay at this homestay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. They even picked us up from the bus drop off in the middle of the night. The food was absolutely amazing, with a great variety and always fresh and tasty. The bungalows had beautiful views over the valley and rice fields and were clean and cozy. We also took advantage of the hiking and motorbike tours arranged by the hosts. one of our best experiences in Vietnam!

We absolutely loved the breathtaking views of the mountains and rice terraces from the property. the relaxing ambiance created by the nearby river was a wonderful bonus. the host family, Zhe and Li, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Zhe introduced us to their family version of rice wine, which he called "Happy Water," and it added a fun and unique touch to our dinner time. Li's cooking was absolutely amazing, with a variety of delicious Vietnamese and village delicacies served every night. the wifi was surprisingly fast and uninterrupted, which was a pleasant surprise.
We felt right at home at Hello Mu Cang Chai Homestay, and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely hosts and their friends.

The location of the homestay is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful rice fields and mountains. the rooms, although simple, are artfully arranged with pretty curtains and nice touches. the bathrooms and showers are extremely clean. the host family is incredibly hospitable, treating guests like family and providing delicious homemade meals, including local cuisine and their own version of rice wine called Happy Water. the atmosphere is quiet and serene, perfect for meditation or enjoying nature.
The presence of moths at night may be bothersome to some guests.

My stay at the homestay was absolutely wonderful. The location was ideal, nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Mu Cang Chai. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, even taking the time to share their culture with me through traditional music and clothing. The meals were excellent and provided an authentic homestay experience. Despite being situated on top of a hill, the owners were always there to assist with luggage. It's important to note that this is not a luxury hotel but a true immersion into nature, so you may encounter bugs. However, for those seeking a charming escape from city life, this is the perfect destination!
